APF Ist Annual Fundraiser
On August 2016, APF organized its first annual fundraiser at the American Red Cross Center in Cincinnati OH. With 85 people in attendance, African Culture was at full displayed. Live Auction included African Arts, Clothes and other merchandises. The Children of Afram Plains were grateful to all that attended and donated to the children of Afram Plains, Ghana to have a better future.
2016 APF Healthcare Mission Trip
On February 27 2016, APF founders and volunteers took a long journey to the island of Afram Plains for a medical MISSION trip. Residents in the village of Adeemmra, and students from both the primary and middle schools were screened for eye related diseases. Our doctors discovered serious diseases and eye defects. Some of the children were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment while those needing basic medicines received them. With the support of Clearview Eye Care, 29 children received free contact lenses. Special thank you to the Dalia family for donating the time and resources to make the mission trip a success.
2015 Education Mission Trip
In 2015, Apeabra Elementary School was the beneficiary of APF’s educational mission trip. Children received books, shoes, books and clothing. APF was grateful to all donors and volunteers in Ghana that supported our efforts to send resources to Apeabra.
2012 Educational Mission Trip
In June 2012, APF organized its first ever mission trip to the village of Adeemmra in Afram Plains , Ghana
Children from Adeemmra Roman Catholic primary school received books pens and pencils.
